Kaasmuseum Bodegraven

In the Cheese Museum, you can learn all there is to know about making farmhouse cheese. Hundreds of objects, pictures, old documents and films bring the cheese making process to life. Learn all about milking, butter preparation, the cheese market, cheese trade and cheese storage. Authentic materials have been used to build a stall and pre-war Gouda and Leiden cheese dairy and cheese storage. The Cheese Museum in Evertshuis is only a few minutes’ walk from the Bodegraven railway station. Parking is available and the building is accessible to wheelchair users.
